Mathieu Ichou

PhD Candidate in Sociology

I am currently a doctoral student in Sociology at Sciences Po, Paris (Center for Studies in Social Change, Department of Sociology) and I work on the academic trajectories of children of immigrants in France and in the UK.

In 2012-2013, I receive a doctoral scholarship from the Center for Research in Economics and Statistics (CREST) where I am a member of the Laboratory for Quantitative Sociology (LSQ).

I am also affiliated with the International Migrations and Minorities research unit at the National Institute of Demographic Studies (INED).

My research interests include sociology of education, migration and ethnicity, social stratification and inequality; international comparison; quantitative and qualitative methods and their combination.
